Racing History 
Two names are legends in the New England area.  This painting depicts a famous modified racing scene historic moment between Fred DeSarro and Buggs Stevens (#3 and #15).

 

Norwood Arena 
Route 1, Norwood Mass

Norwood Arena Speedway located on  Route 1 in Norwood, MA was a 1/4 Mile NASCAR stock car racing track in the 1960's.  Norwood Arena featured midget and sports car racing, stock car racing, drag racing from 1948 through 1972.  Make sure you go to the annual Norwood Arena reunion on the first Sunday in June!
